Carry Me Down~ "Terrance-Calm down already, I can handle it!" I snapped getting annoyed at the older boy. He shook his head watching me with his silver-blue eyes.
"I don't like this Jeod, it's too reckless, and you’ll get hurt..." He said. I glared at him.
"I can handle myself." I said coldly my golden eyes turning green. It was starting to annoy me, I know he was just trying to protect me but no one can tell me what to do.
"I know you can, you just can't handle yourself plus seven scientists not to mention at least thirty guards. It's too risky, even for you and me." He pointed out.
"So what?" I asked "It's a risk I can take." I muttered
"Jeod, you could die." He said sounding annoyed. A tone Terrance doesn't use much. I turned and locked my gaze with him.
"Your point?" I asked

Even though my eyes were closed
I could see it-
The skin of my arms prickled,
sweat dripped from my brow.
It was two in the afternoon but…

I was so thirsty

Instead I found a billboard of butterflies,
the colors raging
more than any rainbow
I'd ever seen.
Their wings fluttered and flashed
yet somehow they moved in slow motion.
I wanted to stand,
wanted to reach out and touch them but…
I couldn't move,
and yet I laughed
ignoring my dry mouth
and the tingling in my feet.
There was a tempest
on the rise
and in my blood.
A sugar rush disguised
as a riot of butterflies
and they were swarming me.
